The Bulldogs were leading the Farmington Cardinals 19-0 at halftime at Jarrell Williams Bulldog Stadium Friday night but were unable to hold on and lost 20-19.

Coach Brett Hobbs said he thought it was a good game regardless of the outcome.

“I thought we played very hard and really improved from last week,” he said. “We had our opportunities to win, but came up a little short. I was proud of the way our players played all the way to the end. There are a lot of things we can learn from this game. We need to continue to work hard and get better each week.”

The Bulldogs have a bye week this week and return on Sept. 24 to play at Rogers Heritage.
