SHS Graduate Julynn Lorenij signed a basketball scholarship to Allen Community College on Friday, Aug. 13. Lorenij played for the Lady Bulldogs for all three years, starting every game her senior year, and was named 2021 6A west honorable mention All-Conference. Girls Basketball Coach Heather Hunsucker said anyone that has coached “Jules” has been blessed by her presence. 

“She is the definition of someone who trusted the process and believed in the vision of her coaches,” she said.  “She is a terrific teammate and performed any role needed in order to put her team in a position to have success.”
